Waltraud went over to Tanzania 2 weeks after she retired to actively help in a bush hopital and during her first stay in Tanzania she got to know the orphanage of Ntoma. She immediately realized, that they need her support even more. She started to regularly travel over to Ntoma to work in the orphanage for a couple of months. When Waltraud is in Germany she presents slideshows of her charity projects and organizes donation runs together with various schools. Additionally she also founded the "Ntoma Team Germany", who actively supports her in producing marmalade and various needlework for sale on weekly and Christmas markets.

people evangelinaEvangelina Kamazuma

Evangelina is the director of the orphanage and our local person of our trust. When she was young she came to Bethel (Germany) for a professional apprenticeship as children nurse . Therefore we benefit from a precise and detailed accountancy about every donated Euro and its necessary outlay. Further on Evangelina has got superb ideas on how to create independent revenues for the survival and livelihood of the orphanage like the vanilla cultivation. She really keeps a firm hand on the orphanage and runs the show.
